I am working on a new installation. Total of 24 incandescent lights in one area. I have determined that 2 circuits can adequately feed these lights. The customer wants all 24 lights to operate from a single switch and they must be dimmable. Utilizing a lighting contactor solves the single pole switch, but how about dimming? Is there a two pole dimmer that I can use? Anybody else have any other ideas?

I'm not positive, but I think Lithonia ( http://www.lithonia.com ) makes a dimming "system" that would do the trick. Check into the RDM, Remote Dimmer Module. Never heard of a 2 pole dimmer.

Any chance of lowering the lmp wattage so all this can be handled by a single 2000 watt dimmer?

Lutron has a high power dimming module that would do the trick. Check out lutron.com or call their tech support 24/7 1-800-523-9466
