This is kind if a Canadian thing but something came up in conversation that kind of puzzled me and threw out a few "red Flags".. My Co-Worker was told by an employee of " the big Orange" that all the fixtures on display do not always bear a "CSA" Certification, and that its now A "C-UL" stamping instead.
Maybe I am out of the loop but I never heard of that, and some of the fixtures I have seen that were purrchased there did not look too safe, at least in my eyes.

Anyone else hear of that?

C-UL has been recognized here in British Columbia for quite a few years now For certification of Electrical Equip. I will try and find a link to all the acceptable testing labs.

This thread should really be in the Canadian Electrical Area.
However I think that only Bill can move it.
