Hmmmm.... 3-5 grand for something that only does up to 1/2"-2" is a waste of mula IMO.

Even the lazy can hand-bend 1/2" to 1" EMT/RMC. After that point use a Chicago up to 2", or a hydralic bender for 1 1/4" - 4"

I've had two 555's now. First one got stolen when a "former" employee left it sitting out while he wandered off to hit a cafeteria. If you have a large crew, and do a lot of conduit installation, they pay for themselves in no time at all. Faster than a Chicago, and bends rigid also. Up to 2". The bad part is you need a dolly lift truck to transport it as it is about 800 pounds. Check this out

Yes, it's heavy; we use a ramp to get it in/out of the vans.

Yes, it's not something to use for EMT; but if it's on site...why not

1/2-3/4-1" hand bends for EMT is faster...but production w/the machine is faster.
