Does anybody know of a legal source for info. about electricians that get sued over their work? I'm not thinking about the contractors, just the hired hands. All the jobsite talk about needing to instill some professionalism, some caring, and some attention to maintainablility, performance, efficiency, expandability..all the things that make for a better installation but are NOT required by the code..all this is just venting, until we learn that we might someday lose our livelihood or our homes in some lawsuit. Then people would pay some attention. Then we would have the backbone to stand up against those who do the bare minimum to keep their jobs or their contracts..and maybe reduce the cat-&-mouse game with the inspectors.

It would seem individuals who attend grade school wearing the proverbial 'Kick Me' sign on thier backs become contractors. and what better OTJ ???
