Just watching the international news this morning and seen that the miners at the largest copper mine in the world have gone on strike for better pay and conditions. Missed the beginning so missed where it is but the footage looked like they ment buisness. Puting rocks on the road to stop access.

Copper price to rise again :-0

Time to look into copper futures prices?

Prices and stock futures are slowly heading down. In fact, most mines are struggling. The strike BTW is at Escondida[sp?] Chile [8% of world production]; workers want a 17% payrise based on the current high metal price. NY exchange was down on the belief the company can ride out the strike with stocks. A massive putative find in Austalia may depress prices, currently around US $7000 a ton = C.$3.50 / lb. The 27c shares in this Oz mine - trading suspended at $10, so too late again!
