I was searching several forums for this thread a couple days ago, to see if anyone had received their bit yet(I'm still waiting). I was using "free drill bit" as the search and couldn't get a hit. Thanks for bringing it back.

I clicked on the "contact us" part of the Bosch link. You can send them a comment there. I wonder what kind of response I will get from Bosch? Probably none.

I got my free blade about a week ago, still no bit.

On March 18 I brought this up with the Bosch rep. He was not surprised to hear that no one had received the bits, and had no idea what the story was.

I did learn something really neat from him, though. To showcase his tools, he was mounting work ina vise made by these guys:

Has anyone recieved their free bit, or was this just a scam from Bosch to gather personal information for their marketing department?

It's been almost 6 months since I signed up for the free bit.

I can't complain too much. I did get a metal-cutting recip-saw blade. It is pretty rugged, and cuts EMT well.

All I got is on their mailing list. With post cards for maybe free 1/8 drill bit if I go to some store at a special time where I have a chance to win something elce small in value.

Sounds like it just takes some time to come. If its free, we are not the first priority.

Haven't got my bit yet either.

Finally got mine. Got a nice 1" x 6" auger bit. Not bad for free.

A freebie 1" x 6" showed up this week.
