Just wondering if anyone has any experiences to pass on regarding pro and cons of different types of 15KV cable and/or terminations.

I have to spec and install some. Customer spec is long but actually very generic. 133% shield is required. Cu conductor. EPR and CCLP insulation are mentioned. Overall jackets listed are chlorosulphonated polyethylene, neoprene or polyvinyl chloride.

A PE is involved but I have some input....

Feeders will be underground in conduit through manholes. Terminating in transformers/switches above ground.

Anyone?
We generally use 3M products, they seem to be the norm in my area.

I prefer the 3M, but a lot of guys I work with prefer the Raychem. Ultimately I don't think it makes enough difference to argue about.
I personally prefer the Raychem stuff.
But as George mentioned above, there's very little difference.
