Can you combine a 120v receptacle with a cablevision F-connector jack in a 2-gang box? Will the 120v circuit cause interferance with the cablevision?

Any help would be appreciated.

In Canada, it can be done, however there must be a partition to separate the high and low volatage.

thanks... I am in Canada...I just wasn't sure if it could be done...I have seen tel and cablevision combined.
Arlington makes a combo box. It has two separate compartments but takes the regular double cover.
Iberville also makes a combo box.. used alot by guys installing gas fireplaces.

Or Iberville also makes partitions for their boxes http://www.tnb-canada.com/en/catalogues/online/comresconstruction/pdf/c1/boxes_01_eng.pdf

Also.. you could just use a single gang box and an LV plate

It is allowed by 820.52(A)1(c)exception #1, and simularly for phone and data by 800.52(A)1(c)exception #1.

Simular to what is shown in the top right coner of this catalog http://www.carlon.com/Brochures/Master_Catalog.pdf

For metal boxes youre limited to the use of a extra capacity box with a divder card.

Will it cause interferance, not really, nothing noticable anyway.
