Here's my little neck of the woods, nestled on the Norfolk coast right by the North Sea.

I'm over there on the right of the picture, backing on to the sand dunes.

As you can see, it's not what you might call a great metropolis. but it's nice and quiet. [Linked Image]

The wife lets me sleep here. When we bought this part of the house and the old building next to the pond was all there was. We cleared the land, built the barns, one in the top right hid by the trees and put up the fence. We have added on to the house, the highest part on the right and built a pond.
Sorry that the only horses in this photo is the miniature in the stallion paddock next to the barn and Duke is in the far left corner but he is hard to see.
This was taken last winter.

Yes, we're nice and quiet here. [Linked Image]

The road coming in from the middle-left of the picture is our main way in and out. There are a some more houses just on one side of the road going off to the right, and you can get out that way too, but it's rather bumpy, so it's mostly only the folks who live further along there who use it.

There are a few more holiday places on a very narrow bumpy track which runs off the lower left corner of the picture.

That lower-left section of the photo is the "Eccles Beach Caravan Park," which is where I snapped these photos a few months ago:

Steve,

Are yellow lines to mark crosswalks a San Francisco thing? And what are those three yellow squares on the pavement? [Linked Image]

I believe those are for a school crossing or some other special crossing, otherwise they are white. I looked at Steves sat photo, and if you look real close... you can make out the elongated lettering of "slow, school, Xing", as the three yellow squares I think you see.

Scarey how much you can zoom in. Anymore might start to invade privacy.

I have an Uncle (pictured below) can zoom in so close that he can tell if a stamp on a letter has been posted. Invasion? Yes!
