Need the above recepticle and plug for a 208V UPS for several computer servers.

Local electrical supplier shows no standard configuration for this and I can't find any in my catalogs either. Does this exist? Is there a "standard" substitution?

Have you looked at the “California Style” Non-NEMA devices?

Leviton receptacle: CS82-69

Leviton plug CS82-65C

I had to get one for a gen-set once http://www.gen-tran.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=PAC scroll down to 50a
Why isn't the NEMA L6-50 pattern appropriate? (2 pole, three wire, 250 volt).
(Standard 110 is also considered 'two pole' by the charts)

I don't think anyone makes an NEMA L6-50.
I think you are correct, there are no nema rated twist locks above 30A

instead of CS style devices you might also want to look at non-metallic pin in sleeve devices
