ETE has gone to a log in format, due to flaky posters and such, too bad that happened, makes one appreciate the members and moderaters here.

Many of the problems were from "taiwanspam411" or some such filling the Q&A forum with unreadable trash, as well as the folks who had a problem with some of the mods.

I offered to mod the "tips of the trade" forum, since it hadn't been updated in 6 months (then). Got a polite "Thanks, but no thanks" response.

Doug, I would put it down to a few people there.
But,not to name names, a big part would have to be blamed on the Moderator(s) there.
If things got out of control in the first place, they really only have themselves to blame.
That's only my opinion, not that of ECN.
However, it is good to see things have been cleaned up there.
As NORCAL did mention, it was becoming just a free-for-all over the Internet, and that is wrong!.

The moderator at that site does not have the ability to delete posts like we do here and the other forums, and the owner does not visit his site very often to clean up the problems.
