Anybody know of any good lighting product to use above Kitchen Cabinets? Do you guys prefer low voltage or line for this type of application? There will be a 3 inch molding wrapping around the top of the cabinets and it is just for accent lighting. Thanks for any comments.

Switched receptacle and rope light? That is what the builders do here.

I like fluorescents; cool, economical, and even lighting.

I too like flouresants, and on occasion use them as title 24 in kitchens apon approval.

Other wise, this stuff... Zenflex

And also had the joy... of doing all of the mouldings in a sizable house in fiber optic. Looked fantastic, safe, real darn expensive, and royal PITA!
