Hello, this is my first post on the forum and I'm hoping someone can help me with my question.

I just moved to Palm Beach County, FL and I am interested in getting the Electrical Contractor’s License. I have worked as an electrical supervisor in a machinery company for 35 years and I wanted to know if I am eligible to get the license. I got the licensing papers from both the state and Palm Beach County and it looks like they both require experience under a contractor which I don’t have.

Does anyone know if Industrial experience is accepted? Or do I have to have experience working for a contractor?
