Someone was looking for a small band saw a few weeks ago, I have found one.Stout tool co makes one it runs on 18 volt battery that is all I know. Stout Tool CO has a web site but I have not had much luck finding it.I saw the first info in Fine Home Building 2005 Tool Guide.

www.stouttool.com

This looks like a winner. 8lbs. and cuts up to 2". I wish I had seen this a couple weeks ago. I got the Panasonic metal saw & love it. I tried a few corded bandsaws, but they were too heavy for one handed operation. I'd ruin my wrists. This one looks good. I didn't notice if it had NiMH batteries, which I'd prefer. (No, they're NiCad).

Thanks,
Dave

By the way, mytoolstore & toolking are selling them online. You really need another search engine, hypress, this all came up for me right away.
