While doing some work related reading i came across this diagram, i question this with no regards to the web site it came from (which is great) however it has always been told to me that at no point shall the mc come into contact with the grid of the drop ceiling and this photo shows it laying on such anyone have any thoughts about this! http://www.mikeholt.com/onlinetraining/special/codetip.php

Thecable can touch the grid legally if it is supported in compliance with its "securing and supporting" section of the appropriate wiring method article. [Linked Image]

Here is the corrected link courtesy of Mike Holt.

As Ryan points, out the MC or AC can touch the grid if all other securing an supporting rules a followed, and in the graphic they are.
