has anyone ever used or experenced these on a building they may be maintaining?
I have never heard of this company before and I want to know if there is anything I should be on the lookout for? oil leaks, hard starting, excessive vibration or other problems for a users/owners perspective
thank you for your time and have a good day

Katolight is an old company. Very reliable. Not my favorite (Cummins & Cat in that order) but pretty much 3rd.

No problems with the line, they've worked fine for me in several instances. Katolights only downside to me is that they are not an engine manufacturer, but they always use old line models where parts are available for a long time.

Don't be concerned using these, they back 'em just fine.

Kato http://www.katolight.com has been around for a good while. They haven't spent as much on advertising as Cat or Onan.

As an aside at the present time, you will probably get promises of ship and delivery dates that will be kept.

Onan will give you these ship and delivery dates, but will not honor them after the contract or P.O. is issued.

thanks for the input. When I looked at their website it looks like they use a John Deer engine.

thanks everyone for your time and have a good day
