me i've an indoor pool job, the owner wants some sort of lighting recessed around the perimiter of it , face up, in the travel area.

If you're looking for uplights (indirect), Compact fluorescent or HID, try Ruudlighting.com They also have some low voltage track & low voltage fixtures.
Just remember they're not "decorative", but functional. (The LV looks good)

The "fiberstars" type stuff is nice, we did a 24 volt cove light setup, zenon bulbs for a "white" light, and dimmed the whole set-up. It looked real good! And yes, it was not cheap by any means.
