I have a Generac SD008 (industrial system) that I installed in 1994. I had service performed by a nearby company. They have ceased operations so I am going to perform my own service maintenance. The oil filter has a genetic source from Fram (PH2951). Would anyone have the generic manufacturer/part number for a Generac Air Filter #70941 and a Fuel Filter #69838? This unit has been great as power was out for a considerable time a couple of days ago and some folks were without power for 3 days. BTW, I'm in a rural area.

Go to a nearby NAPA dealer, you'd be surprised with the availability of parts and with the books and cross references they have. If you take in the filter and the counter guys are any good they can get you something that will work. they can cross reference by dimensions in some cases if they don't have a direct listing.

Napa gold filters are good, danged good. You can also go to Fleetguards website www.fleetguard.com
and they have a cross reference search engine. I recommend fleetguard filters very highly, been working on gensets a long time. If you need, I can cross it at work on monday with a fleetguard catalog.

Fram has had their problems on industrial diesels (use 'em myself on one car, ain't bad mouthin' just da facts) so you may wanna steer clear of them. They have supposedly fixed the problem, but....... not me, bro.

We use Fleetguard on our diesels here too,
and AFAIK, cheaper than the OEM units.
