I have an estimating program which I use strictly for commercial estimates. I am looking for another program which does residential estimates only, small additions and new homes. Does anyone have information on residential estimating programs?

Don, do a search of this forum for residential estima*, and you will see about 15 different threads where this has been discussed in depth. Virgil Kelly had one that he would send out, so you might contact him. His user name here is sparky66wv.

There are a lot of estimating programs available. Some cost thousands and some are a lot less. With any of them, you have to adapt the portions you use to what your prices are for both labor and material. Once the are set up for you area they can save you a lot of time. Be careful of pricing updates, I once had an update the raised my conduit pricing by 600%. That update cost me to be extreamly high on two bids before I caught it.
Good Luck
