sparky, here in columbus, ohio, an electric motor repair company and Ohio State Ubiversity's engineering dept. are jointly developing a car to break the "land speed record". they have already run over 200 mph at the salt flats, in testing. new technology DC motors and batteries, with lots of electronics.

This is all well and good but to me I'd rather watch the 'Funny-Cars'. I cant imagine a drag race without any noise. I have been re-building, for the past 10 years, a 70 Dodge with a 426 Hemi, and cannot imagine using an electric motor, I mean where do you put the cam ??
