About Time !!!!

I think this will help a lot of the electrical industry in Indiana to grow in the right ways, What is most of your opinions, and if your state has a state licensing how does thing seem to work? Better / worse?

I agree it's about time. Maybe, just maybe, this will slow the fly-by-night guys in the beat-up pick-ups who do some of the work we repair daily. There will be a lot of political pressure for this not to pass.

This will be great. Especially if all municipalities are required by law to honor a state license. I have been frustrated by the lack of reciprocation. It is purely politically motivated. I started taking the Block Master's Exam voluntarily in 96 when my local municipality became a test site. I was planning for the day when a similar exam would be given for a state-wide license.

Wow, I finally found this on page three... I was afraid Bill didn't like it for some reason, and it went to Internet Bermuda Triangle space. [Linked Image]
Is there really only three of us from Indiana on here? That's a shame.

Here in GA. One state license, and only recently just one business license to work any where in the state. When GA went to a state license, if you could prove you were doing electrical work as a business, then you were grandfathered in with out taking the test.
