Often I see conduit with a LB at the top and bottom run up the side of a house with vinyl siding and think it looks like a hack job.
If I need to run a line to the second floor and there is no other way (like a plumbing chase) to get there I remove some vinyl siding and cut out a small section of the sheeting and fish the line in the wall.
It's more work but there's no eyesore on the side of someone's house.
I'm also the guy that will only use wiremold when there is no other option.

Full disclosure: I've done that many times, but I agree it's unsightly.

When I was doing Electrical Work I always looked for any way possible to avoid things showing or causing damage that had to be repaired. Unfortunately, the majority of Customers I had were only willing to pay the absolute Minimum.

Vinyl corner can make a quick chase to the second floor. A quick unzip of the siding and you can get just about anywhere without anyone knowing.
