I haven't been out to this job to look yet but anyone recognize this older GE 3R sub panel? I am trying to figure out if it will accept twins all the way to the top of the bus. Home owner says label is gone. Yes I am aware of the incorrect breaker for the AC.

Venture a guess from the East Coast and say...…..possibly.

Counting the spaces as all 1" cb, it looks like a 24 circuit and could be a 24-40 with the twins (1/2" cbs)

I would def go & see before I got involved.

I think you just answered my question....If there are 24 spaces, in order to limit the circuits to 40 only 16 of those spaces would permit twins leaving the remaining 8 spaces for full size breakers only, so I am almost certain that the top 8 spaces will not accept twins. Your reply got my brain into gear and I had a "Duh" moment.
