I have a customer that is ordering a bath fan part no for 808 motor, asked if it was with capacitor or not? Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace motor on bathroom fan? Job not convenient to go over and look, am expecting the whole motor enclosure? To come.

It's not possible to answer this without more information...like perhaps the manufacturer.

It is worth a look but usually the motor assembly just screws into the can with a 1-15 plug on it.

Yeah that’s what I was expecting but went to my normal supplier and they said you just get a new unit and bill all labor for complete install, should have called Panasonic, too many plates spinning right now.....I’ll see what comes as the owner found her manual and called for part to order.....

They might only sell the whole unit or the fan motor assembly might cost as much as the whole unit but they are usually a plug in deal ... or at least that was how it was the last time I looked at one.

The solution
i used back in the day was buy a new unit at the supply house, same brand and model. Install the plate with the motor and impeller, plug it in, done.

You or the client may discover that the "part" from the mfg may cost as much or more than a new fan.
