A customer called to ask where he could buy a new lens for a low-bay fixture. It's one of those round 400 watt fixtures that hang from a single hook.

He was changing the bulb when the ladder slipped and he grabbed the fixture to keep himself from falling, and the lens fell off. It was a good thing, he said, that he tied the ladder to the light. The light is about 25 feet above the floor and the ladder - well, it was an extension ladder. He leaned an extension ladder against a hanging light that he was working on. I'm going to have nightmares about this.

He probably needs the OSHA handout about working on ladders.

Holy ~!@#%&*!!!
Brings in a whole new thought to the term "Troubleshooter"!
("Trouble-SEEKER")
Maybe "Daredevil Of Lumen Maintenance" is a prospective nomenclature for such an act!

He is lucky that he is not on the ground looking up at the light fixture with the missing lens.
