The new categories are branch/feeder type (AVZQ); outlet circuit type (AWCG); portable type (AWDO); cord type (AWAY); and combination type (AWAH) AFCIs. These products will be included in the 2000 edition of the UL Electrical Construction Equipment Directory (green book), and in the 2000 edition of the UL General Information Directory (white book).

so where are they?

Reading materials only. Listed in 2000, and not on the shelves in 2011??

My guess is they can't get one that works and also hits the price point. They are still shaking out the technology. Once someone comes up with a good design that fulfills all the promises and gets it on a single chip, these things will be everywhere.
