Can some one explain what is Redundant grounding

The term is used in article 517 (patient care areas) it generally refers to an additional grounding conductor.
They require a properly made up metallic wiring method (your ground) plus an insulated grounding wire (the redundant ground).

Keep in mind the first EGC can be your conduit, then a properly sized insulated EGC inside.
