does anyone have information on installing ceiling fans on a sloped ceilings ? the ceilig is 9 ft, with a 30 degree slop.
What is the question. Anything particular? Most manufacturers give specific info and instructions on which way the bracket should mount on sloped ceilings.
mj,
i don't believe there's any generic air movement vs. proximity specs, it's all per individual manufacturer.
The bracket included with most fans will handle 30 degree slopes with a 1 ft downrod, the blades should clear the ceiling/roof line.
if you are talking about the type of box to use so that the fan shroud will hang level, arlington makes a rough-in box for sloped ceilings or one for the ridge in the peak of the ceiling. hope this helps. thx., ken m
