I was given a Hewlitt Packard pocket PC and have been trying to use it to help with day to day stuff. I always thought it would be great if there was some way to enter time and materials used on the job to help streamline data entry. Does anyone know of anything like this for Palm or Pocket PCs?

Boy, I would love to find something. There is alot of software for the Palm platform but not much for the Pocket PC. I made my own spreadsheet in Excel and converted it to Pocket Excel. Also, some third party database programs might work but I find they take up alot of space. I would be interested to know if anyone is using these devices in the field.

I am also working on using excel and converting to Pocket Excel. One of the problems is that pocket excel does not seem to support any macros. So I think there is an opportunity for a clever software maker, or maybe we should put our thinking caps together. The only problem is when you market and sell software, you have to support it.

I am not familiar working with macros. There is a free spreadsheet program that supports it. It can also do charts in Pocket PC. You can get it free at http://www.byedesign.freeserve.co.uk/
