I was talking to an industrial plant maintenance guy the other day and he was surprised to learn that when you switch to T-8 lamps, you need to change the ballast also.
From the look on his face, I would guess he might have already done so and I was wondering what would happen if that was the case? Would the lamps work and how long, if anyone has had this experience.
