Here's a service feeding a four-way Stop Light, which can be seen in the second pic.

This is in the town that does have inspections! (and apparently, an indifferent meter reader...)

*sigh*

The chain & padlock are a nice touch!
Only thing, a bigger chain to wrap around the pole to hold the mess up!
You implying that this was inspected?

Virgil, you have to stop posting these pictures. It never ceases to amaze me what crap you encounter. [Linked Image]

God bless you for the junk that you have to put up with.

Virg,
You'll never run out of work in your area if all you did was cleanup behind all of the previous Sparkies that have visited your area. [Linked Image]
The Funeral Parlor owner probably does a booming business also. [Linked Image]

Hey Sparky, does the city perform there own inspections on work done in there own town?
Wirewiz Seems to me that we may have two sets of standards, one for the citizens and one for the city. Or, two definitions of "Neat and workmanlike".

SPARKY, IS THAT CITY HALL ACROSS THE STREET?
Posted By: sparky66wv Re: "Stop" Light Service - 11/17/02 12:38 AM
Heh heh...

Actually, it's not... It's the local college.

However, the court house and city hall are about one block away, and the police station is across the street. It's next to the local hardware store, and dead in the middle of town.

I forgive the inspector, for it's old and probably was hanging up halfway decent when energized...

However, the meter reader could use some education if this hasn't been reported!

When it shorts out, hopefully without harm to anyone, then it'll be fixed, and only until then...

Is it called a 4-way stop light because there are four different ways in which this service could stop the light from working??!! [Linked Image]
