Due to the cost of copper, aluminum is being installed much more often. Any special concerns using it for the service lateral and for residential feeders between the meter and load center other than size and proper installation?
Is the use of an antioxident at the lugs part of proper instalation?

Anti oxident and the proper use of it is important. Get a Stainless steel brush and apply the anti oxident before using the brush to break the oxide layer. Aluminum oxide forms as fast as you break it so the inti oxident is important.
