What does the insurance industry have in place concerning building electrical and other systems property inspection audits?

I have been told that they sometimes call for more than the electrical code.

I have run into "NEC Compliant" and "UCC Compliant" (NJ State Uniform Construction Code) which adopts the NEC with some minor modifications.

Some ins. inspectors/adjusters can be a real pain when it comes to "storm damage" and/or flood damages.
