I have a custumer who wants 120 volt AC under cabinet lights mounted in her home. The fixtures are fluorescent,
about I" x 6" x 18". They are made by GE and UL listed. Anyone ever installed this type? I was wondering what would be acceptable for wiring, Romex or MC.

rx is generally an acceptable wiring method for a residence, until it's exposed.
If you can , get a cut sheet that specifies the wire entry and run the rx accordingly.
I have found, in the case of multiple undecab lights that it is best to have a single wire eneter and not 'dasiychain', so i will usually have a larger volume switch box for all the rx.

NMB should be fine for you as sparky said, check with inspector. Even though the wire is some what exposed it is not likely to be damaged. The key is to get a good layout from the cabinet man so you wires end up in the right place. If you can junction the switchlegs and take just one cable to each fixture you will find it much easier to make up like Sparky suggested. And your back will thank you.
