A piece of equipment has arrived at our site that requires a 45 amp, 120 volt circuit per the installation instructions.
They also say to install a plug & receptacle after the disconnect switch.
The only devices I can locate that meet these ratings are twist-lock types that are "Non-NEMA" devices. (Ex.-Leviton # CS63-70)
I would like your thoughts or comments.

Does it need to be a NEMA type? If not there is nothing wrong with using a non-NEMA type. If you don't need a locking type you could use a NEMA 5-50 receptacle and plug (Leviton 5373 & 9550-P). Pin and Sleeve would be another option.
