i have a customer who wants four floor boxes installed in concrete, i am usisng schedule 40 pvc and regular terminal adapters. is this cide complient? i know(from school ions ago) when using emt fittings shall be listed but not sure about pvc... honestly ive never installed a floor box period. thanks , h20
This is just a preference reply, but Hubbel pvc floor boxes are imho a tad more forgiving to trim out because of the way the trim ring is designed. They use 4 clips to hold the pvc trim out plate secure rather than just glue held in place, and therefore seem to me to be much more securely fastened that way.
