100A residential panel feeding 2 small subpanels. the 2 main lug subs are both fed from a single 2 pole 60A breaker in the mian panel. the 1st sub has wires in from the main and out to the 2nd sub, both wires being under the main lugs. basically the 2 subpanels are paralleled together off the one 60A breaker. is this legal? can the lugs on the 1st sub have 2 wires under them? i beleive they are both 60A subs fed with #6 THHN off the 60A breaker in the main.
I agree with Chris, the lugs would most likely be the only problem, but they could probably be changed to a parallel type lug or the #6's could be spliced ahead of the lugs.
