can someone explain theese and how they work?
do they protect the x-fomer like a gfi or afi?

no joe i am not working on this wquipment,
had to exclude 225 kva x-former from bid was too much for me right now with vault and connections plus the grounding was going to be a battle in itself(ground rods plural)making shell with exo connections. but i am interested in bare the bare mini to understand what i would be subbing out.

anyway contract said existing elbows were left in original x-former w/meter to feed this new 225 kva x-former which would feed sub panel and equipment disconnects(my bid).
