Would it be permissible to use sch 80 in a hospital, with two grounds as long as you did not supply patient areas or emergency power through it?(You would still use a mettallic raceway for these areas)

I don't think that you can use PVC in a hospital under any circumstance. I have never seen PVC in the hospital that I worked in.

JG, there is no need to put two EGC's in PVC in a hospital.

In the applications where PVC can be used in a hospital, there would be no reqirement for this to be done.

See Yoopersups' code references, as well as 517.12
