What are the min requirements for this application. I`m being told I must installa 240 gfci and 120 gfci for the pole but I`m not using 240 so can they make me add one to my pole? I currently have 2- 20a breakers feeding 2 separate gfci recepticals never had a problem before. Thanks in advance I`m in NC if that matters.

If you do not have any 240v outlets, why would you need a 240v GFCI??
If there is one in the panel assembly, take it out and blank it off.
You can also institute an "assured equipment grounding program"
but why bother any of it if you don't have a 240v need?

Thats it the town official/code officer said I needed one? I said I didn`t plan on using any 240 he says must have it in case a sub wanted me to install for instance floor sander 240 This way they know it`s properly installed. My concern is can they make me install one? Hell the contractor said no floors to sand or anything he`s aware of. I haven`t done work here before so guess I`ll have to redo my pole or become a goat. Naaaaaaa (lol)
