I have a client who wants an indoor garden, including outdoor LV landscaping lights near a custom-built tub. I am having trouble finding a reference. I plan on running 14-2 NM from the transformer to a NM junction box on the front wall of the tub enclosure (facing away from the tub) and outdoor cable from the junction box to the lights. Does the junction box need to be water-resistant, water-tite, or can a standard NM box be used?

As I was looking into your question I noticed that in the index 2002 version under junction boxes (swimming pools) it gives 680.29 .This must be a misprint,But anyway looks like 411.4,your lighting system is not going to be within 10 feet. If indoors and not mounted near tub no need for wt cover. ps please excuse my spelling
