I had a discussion with an inspector who said a temp pole requires a main. I disagreed since the six circuit panel only had one breaker which fed one GFI recept. I stated that if you have no more than six breakers at the service enclosure and can disconnect all current carrying conductors with six throws of the hand (230.71) your breaker serves as the disconnecting means. What are you required to do on temp poles.
