instaling electrical devices in a comercial building. such as receptacles and switches, i was told by the enginere that i had to use presure connectors or solderles crimp conn.
i cant find this requierment on the code
can anybody provide insight. thanks

Maybe that is their site policy. Receptacles and switches are designed to accept conductors directly.
