Does anyone know of a source for Connectors approved for splicing a pool bonding wire or lugs suitable for connection to the Metal pool frame below grade? A lay-in type would be best if available. It must be listed for direct burial, may be marked DB - anyone seen any around? Got a Manufacturer/Model# ??

Thanks in advance for any responses

Bill

I've gone thru my O-Z/Gedney & Blackburn (T&B) catalogs. there are many grounding devices ,both crimp & bolt down, for DB, some say in concrete.

I would imagine to look for something that separates dissimilar metals as well.

i have found nothing that refers to "pool"

Sparky,

Thanks, I'll have to get some catalogs. There's one type (if it's approved for DB) - a layin type footlug that makes things real easy, especially for pools with many points that need bonding.

Does anyone know if it has to be a special connector to splice the bonding wires? I don't have the code in front of me but i think it says something like approved for the purpose. Does that mean DB or something more?
