I am looking into a service upgrade for a home. One issue has come up in the estimate for the job. The existing panel will be replaced with a new panel in the same location. However under the old panel is a POCO device I believe is called an air conditioning cycler. Who is responsible for moving this device? The new panel is longer than the existing panel so this will be moved in the upgrade.

If I had to guess, I'd say the POCO. Normally those things are installed on the condensing units themselves. Can't say I've ever seen beneath the OCPD's.

I see your in jersey, no problem, both PS, and JCP&L need service upgrade information sheet filed, so when you file for the upgrade, let them know it is connected. they will have an engineer get back to you.
