Just wondering how many of the forum members play a musical instrument.
I play guitar.
Rhythm, lead and some vocals. I have played in several bands, rock and country but don’t have time for that anymore.
It seems that a large percentage of electricians that I’ve met play an instrument.

I play drums and fill in at our church band. I also play guitar but not at church, need to practice more.

Have been playing the trumpet since 6th grade. Way back in 1969.Really enjoy it. After all this time even the sound is pretty good.

Am a life member of Local 6 AFofM. From 1936 to 1956 I worked casuals with dance bands in the San Francisco bay area. Saxaphone & Clarinet.
From 1956 to 1966 was Pipe Major of the Berkeley, CA Canadian Legion Pipe Band.
Now just mourn the passage of the Big Band erra.

I play piano, by ear, as well as harmonica and flute (the plastic elementary-school kind).

I play a pipe organ in my church every Sunday and Wednesday. Been doing this since 1983. Even do a little maintenance work on it occasionally - mostly electrical in nature (of course).

I'm not all that good, however...sometimes it sounds kinda like an oil-field roughneck at the console [Linked Image]. But the people are nice, and very tolerant of me.

Wish I could play by ear, like Larry...no such luck though.
