Turkey Day?

It seems soon there'll be a chicken and/or pig, maybe cow day. [Linked Image]

Very strange, this thing with the turkey...

Some (about ten) years ago we rarely ate turkey, just as often as now we eat goose or duck, maybe those who have a farm, do.

(Sorry, fot those, who don't understand, I'm from Hungary)

Since the mad cow thing started, people stopped to eat beef. After the chicken disease, they stopped to eat chicken. Not much left. [Linked Image]

But the strangest of all is that we used to have fish around Xmas. fish soup, fried fish, with potato-mayonnaise salad, and some sweets.
Now the rest of the families eat grill turkey. Strange.
