I am installing a 800A panel off an exsisting switchgear in a renovated hotel.
The MDP is set up for two services on the left is a 1600 service for the heat/ac and on the right is a 1200 service for general power(receptacles, lights, ect.) In the center is where the parallel service conductors enter the gear.
The problem is that we piped 3 3"(underground) to the right side of the gear. Well we got the breaker in, Square D and it will only fit on the left side of the gear. My boss wants me to run the conductor feeding the 800a panel through the center,(passing the service conductors to the left side of the gear. I am guessing that this is in violation of article 230.7 . Am I correct?

I believe that your understanding of 230.7 is correct.

Can you install conduit nipples through the middle compartment or can a metal divider be installed in the compartment to separate service from non-service conductors? Otherwise, you'll have to get creative with elbows & condulets and come out the sides or top & pipe over to the other side.

Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.

I,m afraid it's not going to be that easy. We.re still thinking up a solution.
