Which type of light switches do you prefer: Traditional-style toggles or rockers?

My preference is for toggles. The British ones were a slightly different style to most U.S. types, but unfortunately standard wall switches are now available only as rockers. The only toggles still on sale are expensive "retro" mock-Edwardian/Georgian brass types.

Over here the toggle is considered to be a standard switch, while the rocker is a "decorator" switch. Most people would stand on their heads to operate the "deco" switch if it was necessary, just so they could have the "fanciness" of it.
Personally, I don't give a rat's ***, they both work just fine!
(I thought the old controversy in the UK was between the "Mods" & the "Rockers")

Yeah, I've seen all the "Decora" style fittings in the Graybar catalog. I guess that most jobs using the big rocker switches also go for the flat duplex recepts. instead of the normal duplexes with two hole cover plate, right?
