I am looking for a manhour estimate on a industrial installation.
THE JOB Run conduit pull and terminate control,power,instrumentation wiring for a 480V 200HP VSD and motor.The motor and drive are in place.
THE TAKEOFF 240' 3"rigid conduit {line side of drive to 480V SWGR 90',load side of drive to motor 150'} The line conduit is 10'AFF ,the load conduit 70'is 10'AFF 80'is 3'AFF the control and instrument conduits are parallel to the load conduit. The 3"is all straight runs with factory 90' and BUB fittings. The control and instrument conduits are 3/4" and are being bent at the job with a Greenlee 555 electric bender.
THE TOOLS Greenlee 555 bender Rigid 4"threader (not a 141 hogs head)
MISC INFO Allow 3 days for hangers and support fab and installation .Power wiring is 350mcm THWN and #2 THWN.
THE CREW 1Industrial construction electrician
1.5 industrial maintenance electricians (limited conduit experience)1 maintenance electrician appretice.

I hate to sound mean or whatever, but this is not a "Free Estimates" Area.
I could be way out of line in saying this, but if we all submitted our quotes here, what sort of a place would we turn into?.
I'd refer this to the Business Area where they can at least give you a hand to calculate this.
Other side of the coin we have a Business Chat every Wednesday night, I've never seen you there.
Just my $0.02 worth.

I'm with Mike on this one. If you did get an estimate on the internet, would you really use it? Quote the materials to your supplier, and figure installation at your labor rate (including overhead)plus profit.

An explaination I am working on this job now and what I am looking for is just a time estimate for my own benifit. I work as a maintenance electrician am not useing this as a estimate fof biding. I think it would take 3 to 4 construction electricians 3 weeks that would be working 4/10s. It looks like it is going to take us 5 weeks working 5/8s . What do you think ?
